We have worked with Janelle on a number of projects from garden to large bespoke country homes. Each project Janelle deftly curates the interior spaces by working hard to understand the underlying architectural drivers together with a clients aspirations. Janelle has an uncanny ability to visualise a space and align it to her client’s story. This creativity is balanced by using a rigorous process to ensure her client’s projects are on budget and on time, creating a great relationship that often transcends the project.
Our principal designer, Janelle Edwards-Spear, brings flair and impeccable project management honed through her past career in hospitality and events. Over the past 10 yers, whilst studying with KLC design school in London, Janelle has completed projects across the UK and Europe gaining an exceptional understanding of building infrastructure particularly historical architecture, space, design details and their relationship to the environment. Not to mention learning from many of the great interior design classics and having access to artisians and exceptional design industry specialists.
Now back in her homeland Australia, Janelle brings this experience to create an aesthetic that is interesting and authentic, that will stand the test of time unswayed by by current design trends.
We first met Janelle back in 2014 when she was working on the restoration of a gentlemen’s residence and had instructed us as the kitchen provider. Janelle’s understanding of construction combined with her design skills and love of food (she was also Kitchen Editor for the UK publication Food Magazine) meant the project ran smoothly and looked amazing. Since then, our relationship has grown and her honest, easy-going nature means she is not just a client and colleague but also a friend.
She is greatly missed here in the UK but we can’t wait to see her work down under!

Interior Design
Whether it’s one room, or an entire property - renovation or new build, our studio uses a strong design process that focuses on communicating effectively and with collaboration to ensure all areas of the project (design, budget and time) are managed professionally from creation to handover.
We can be engaged alongside an architect at the commencement of the design to ensure the needs of your space are meticulously thought out, bringing a real sense of ease and success to the project and the finished space.
Alternatively, we can be bought in at a later date to assist with lighting, fixtures and fittings, colour, window treatments, furniture requirements, procurement and decoration.

Interior Decoration + Styling
You may have purchased your dream home, only to find a full renovation is out of the question. We can work on your existing house, using your cherished items to provide a design that works for you now, maybe you will eventually complete that renovation, and maybe you will be so in love with your space that there is nothing left to do but enjoy it.
The same principle applies if you want to put your property on the market and attract the best interest. Utilising tried and tested techniques we can show you how to complete some work and styling to obtain the highest price for your property.
